Who We Are

We are people who love the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe He has saved us from our sins, and knowing Him is the most important thing in life. We love the Bible. It is God’s Word and we seek to apply it to our lives. We enjoy spending time together in fellowship and helping one another grow in Christ. We worship every Sunday at 10 am, and afterwards we offer Sunday School classes for children and adults. We love to have visitors, and we would love to have you visit us!

Our History

We started our church in Beltsville, Maryland in 1995. We met for worship in a school until we purchased a church building in Burtonsville in 2015. We are Reformed Presbyterians and belong to a denomination called the Reformed Presbyterian Church of North America (RPCNA). It has its roots in 16th-century Scotland, where a group of Christians called Covenanters stood up for the authority of the Lord Jesus Christ against a tyrannical king. In 1743 Covenanters emigrated to America and formed the first RPCNA church. Like these Covenanters, we are fully committed to the authority of the Bible as the inerrant, infallible word of God, and we seek to follow the Lord Jesus Christ in every area of life. In our worship services we practice a capella Psalm singing, which is a beautiful and biblical way to praise God.
